Should the headlight be brighter?

With the HID lights...I, personally, would use Icemann's recommendation and get his yellow beam replacement hi beam.

It actually is able to cut through the HID...to be usable and functional.

I have contacted Iceman looking for the yellow bulbs, and he informed me that he can no longer get them. He is trying to find someone else to make them, but has none at this time.

got my 05 LE a few weeks ago and rode it last weekend at night and it scared the crap out of me. Light was bad. got it home figured out I had to take the little plastic covers around the gauges off and the gauges to get to the headlight adjusters. It's all good now, I think the stock lights are great.

Ive even been complimented on my stock headlights, I went out for a night rides with 5 other guys one night, a Honda 929, an R6, a Superhawk, an SV1000 and I forget the other. Anyways I was about 3rd in line during one portion of the ride and the 2 guys behind me said I lit up everything in front for them. And I would tell by watching the other guys that my Busa lights were far brighter than the rest of theirs. Oh and I wear a dark shield 24/7

I did notice yesterday that the "hi-beam" is about 2" lower than the low beam so clearly it should be adjusted. I'm still going hid, since I live in deer country and I miss being brighted by every oncoming car.
