SHow me your tobins...

My Tobin seats.
That's an 04, right?  I have the same bike.  Until I saw this picture, I thought that I wanted the dull black with the blue stitching.  But now, the gloss black looks nice too.  Decisions!
Yep it's an 04. Here is a different pic with the gloss black seats.

Rich, where 'ya been man?  How's things going?  Did you get the turbo up and running?
I've been good, I had surgery on my rotatorcuff on Dec 31st and am starting PT tomorrow. It has been a long process for the turbo, I finally got the bus down to biggerdanno (LA) and he has been dyno tuning it. I had to get a different jet and send it to him and now there is a issue with the controller for the WI. He said that it will be about 250 at the RW. Even though I will not be able to ride it for a couple of months. When I get it back I will post some pics of the new paint and dyno sheet.

Here is mine.  Flat black, no lettering.  I am posting my picture 'cause I really like to see my bike!
Thats the exact kinda setup I'm looking for

Can you tell me how much it was to get that setup with the rear pad? Is it detachable?

Thanks in advance

I bought a second seat off of ebay for 35.00 and sent it to Tobin (I kept my gel seat just in case).  He charged me 115.00 (or so) for the seat and 55.00 for the pad, then 25.00 for the kanji.  Shipping was inclusive; so Tobin charged me 185.00 (or so) - with my trade in seat. The pad is detachable, It is zippered on under the seat. You have to remove the seat to put it on or take it off, but it isn't that big of a deal....I just doesn't work to ride with the pad if you don't have your hump on.

Hope that is what you were looking for.

Good to hear. I'll be glad to get back and ride mine too! Got a few things left to do to her though.

All,
Want to buy a tobin seat and want to get more ideas on colors and styles besides what he has on the site... Post 'em people... Don't worry, I am not going to steal your color scheme, just want an idea of what all the colors look like to see what would be good combinations for lettering, and a two tone seat for me...

Here's mine  I finally got my bike where I can stand to ride it long distance. Tobin seat, Zero gravity double buble, Genmar 1 1/4" risers, ProTek pegs, 1" lower in rear.
