That's interesting, because the Glock feels better to me. The angle of the grip is just a few degrees different, so I think it's what you are most used to. Since I had glocks first, i am more used to it's angle than the Smith.

This is going to come across wrong, but Glocks feel cheap to me. The "plastic" grips feel subpar compared to Springfield and S&W.. Again, just my personal opinion.
I could NEVER own a gen4 Glock, the stippling plain old hurts my hand. Not a fan at all... Some guys like Harley's too, and they aren't for me either. Different strokes...
