Thinking about getting a pair of Sidi VS Alpinestars, I tried some Alpines didnt like them at all. Alpine like a inner boot inside big pain when gearing up. Just wanted some feedback on the Sidi Vertigo. Thanks
Jon(Loomis).

the inner boot is for better support of the anckle I wear the S-MX Plus they are comfortable. But Sidi makes good gear as well and their boots are comfortable as well.

I use vertigos and I love them... I recommend that you try a set on if you can... I think they run a hair small... but they are awesome!

I've had my Sidis for over 3 years now and still love 'em. They do size them a bit small so try them on before you buy. I've never worn A-Stars street boots but have an old pair of Tech 4 MXers that are the most comfortable motorcycle boots I've ever owned.

One thing I have noticed with a lot of Sidi boots though, they squeak.

Sidi Corsa - you get what you pay for. The are very comfortable and easy to put on and off... Get flexibility and protection. You can order replacement parts if needed...

I have found nothing that usurps the Sidi's, I even prefer the vertigos' over the vertigo corsa for everything except track duties. Effortlessly fast and easy to put on, extremely well armored and protective and although not it's forte, if you've gotta walk in them for a spell, it's not a big deal. They are not smoking slippers mind you but if you've gotta ride and walk for the daylong ride, they perform admirably.

I have vertigo corsa, they are the best boots I ever had.I won't try anything else.
Mine were squeaking until I took them apart ant spray some wax based lubricant between the hard plastick parts.
Squeaking stopped.
Buy them a size bigger. They run smaller and won't break in like leather.
Just my own experience.
