That's what we do in Puerto Rico, but if you get cut by a LEO you get a ticket for obstructing w/ the law

Yup, it's a classic and extremely handy. Had my bacon saved a few times via the "Keep your Head On" sign... That's what I call it anyway, I dunno why it's the tapping the top of the helmet thing though...

Anyone know why we tap the top of our helmets? ???

heh, first time I saw that, I shrugged visibly to my buddy riding next to me, he signs 5-0 and grabs a handful of brake. I damn near got caught before I realized.

I tried riding with a group of cruisers and they looked at me like I had 2 heads when I tried reveiwing hand gestures with them

that's because they can't get above the speed limit and everyone knows you are all turning in at the next bar

more common with sportbikers...most of the cruiser crowd has to go home to tap the top of thier helmets, and by the time they get there it's too late
