i was wondering if anyone could help me out with this.
Basically i removed a trailer harness from my busa.....i know, sounds wierd to me too, but that's how it was when i got it.
i tried wiring all the wires back to my stock tail lights. Now, i have ONE brake wire, and two signals/tail lights. when i wire the 1 brake light into the two tail lights, it overrides any signals i have on, SO, for safety, i only attatched the brake wire to ONE of my tail lights, the right one. The reason i chose to wire the brake to my RIGHT tail light instead of my left, is because if i am making a left turn, i want the people behind me to know it, if l'm making a RIGHT, l'm ususally off the road before it makes a difference. my left side works fine, brake, turn, signal.
Here's where the problem lies..... ever since i got the bike, when i apply my brake, front or back, one of my front signals comes on and stays on steady, just so happens that it's the right one, but it used to be the left.
I have a wiring diagram, but i think because this bike is Canadian, the colors aren't even close to matching. What makes this so frustrating for me, is that i used to re-wire the back end of semis ans semi trailers without any hassle whatsoever. this is driving me nuts.
I have new LED tail and front signals i want to install, but i want to fix my electrcal problems first.
Hoping there is a simple solution that i have missed, i leave it up to your capable hands to help me.
Thanks!
