Goldenchild hooked me up with a stator cover and a left rear view mirror. Thats all thats left to get the bike running. So tuesday, im going to put all of that on, get the new tire put on and hopefully take it for a short spin. Im going to fill the engine with oil, run it with the old filter for a bit, then change the oil and filter to get all of the garbage i cant see out. It wont look pretty but it will be driveable.

So umm.... yeah...... i fixd it. She dont look purty but she will run. I( got the new stator cover on and fulled the motor with oil and used the old oil filter. ran it for a bit then did an oil change. tomorrow i will go get the pirelli angel put on. there is no way im not driving her to work tomorrow. With the wiring harness. upon closer inspection, only 2 wires were chewed up. got a soldering iron and some heat shrink and fixed that right up. some time in the future i will get a harness and a better stator cover but right now money is tight. oh yeah the wif graduates next week.

put 162 miles on it today and have a 100 mile ride home. no problems and that angel ST rides sweet wet or dry.

got a plastic and HIDs installed. also shined her up a bit because of Kent. Meguairs nXt 2.0 tech wax 3000 super compund

i have the left and front fairing on the way and the right one is in the house. seat is on its way to PA to new image.

im getting ready to drive this thing to cali. do i need to be concerned about the chain?
16k miles on it and always waxed/cleaned every 5-600 miles.

Glad you got her going good. My bikes been running great...not had a chance to ride much but when I do its worth it. I need to ride out to Tommys and take a link out of my chain and pull my stretch in 1 inch or so. I will let you know in advance before I go riding next time
