Slipping only in 2nd

I have a 2007 low miles less than 6k. Shes used. I havent taken apart the trans yet. When I hit the throttle in any gear it pulls great. When I hit it in 2nd it slips in and out. If I throttle slow it wont happen. Its really snappy like GRAB-NOTHING-GRAB (if that makes sense) penny for your thoughts?

Happened to me on my 01, I had my transmission back cut and I replaced my shift forks. My bike did it almost immediately (bought it used with 4K miles on it in 2004) and unfortunately, Suzuki is useless when it comes to stuff like this that should be under warranty. Good luck taking care of it. :beerchug:

Just got done with doing the same fix. Split the case as told, If you need any help feel free to get ahold of me..:cheerleader:

From what I took from the APE site. The dogs are bad if the bike jumps out of gear. Would you consider what mine does jumping out of gear? I would call it slipping.

Hmmmm, regardless of "slipping" or "jumping"... in case of temporarly loss of mechanical transmission you have a prob with the tranny... open and fix it.

There's only one other (very little) possibility: Maybe you mix the behavior with a sliding clutch? But this would happen even worse using 1st gear, right?

So, sorry to say, check your tranny :goodboy:
