So I was playing lil bit today

Ok enough, we all beat the crap out of this one. I hope he gets the point. Stay safe as you can, have fun, go wild were you can with out creating fear. Now this is from someone who rides over 200mph every so often. YES with Full gear.

I can't even read through this whole thread before I get mad at all of the self righteous riders chiming in on how dangerous and how stupid this guy is. Come on, lighten up. He did a 5 second burnout on the side of the road, and a 10 foot wheelie on a residential street.

He barely even exceed the freaking speed limit.

Sure, stunting is dangerous, but THIS WASN"T STUNTING!!!

Lighten up.

You can lose your life or limbs ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME EVEN WHEN YOURE NOT POPPING WHEELIES OR DOING BURNOUTS, wearing gear or not.

Sometimes the people on this board really crack me up. He was just having a little fun and wanted to share. He is no ghost rider.

Damn, there wasn't even traffic on the road!

So from me smonroe, all I will say is be careful, where ever you are.

Approx two years ago here in Colorado Springs... a lady at the DMV while trying to obtain her drivers license was just runing the pilons at the DMV... lost control... hit the curb... broke her neck and died right there. A bike is a weapon... a weapon will kill you or others.... you must practice safety at all times or expect that sooner or later you will get bit! Hold you head up high and understand that we care! That is all that is really being said in a round about way I'm sure. We are not all perfect and I'm sure not, however for this thead... just understand that we care is what we are trying to say and especially as a military member we must uphold a higher standard in the 1st place.

First, thanks for your service.  It is appreciated. I don't think much more needs to be said about the gear and stuff.

But, that was a pretty lame wheelie.

Personally, it's the safety of the other people that concerns me the most. Do your wheelies and burnouts without gear. Fine.

Just don't do it where you have the potential of harming others. Sure, your neighbors might love you now but wait until you put one of their kids in the hospital or the cemetary. Hell, you won't have to worry about THEM beating you to a pulp.

You'll be beating yourself up for the rest of your life.

I like you. You got a good spirit! You ran the gambit and are still hangin in!

One nasty little spill and you'll be wearing gear from then on. Personally, I like my skin just the way it is. Last thing I need are foot long scars running up and down my body.

As far as what full gear means...helmet (check), leather gloves, leather jacket (or a heavy duty textile at minimum), leather pants or Kevlar keans and over the ankle no-lace boots. It will be over 90* here in FL tomoroow and humid as hell, but I'll still be wearing full gear w/ Under Armor underneath.

Good luck, bro. Stay safe and God bless you for your service.

Well well well............There is no cat that has got my tongue about no situation try this one out
So I come home from Iraq as everyone know right, well my wife has a baby appointment in kansas and at the time we were in nebraska so i tell me wife we are going to kansas for one day = long enough for her appointment. So right afterwards we are right back on HWY 80 to omaha well i passed a nebraska state boy oh doing 90m.p.h. and i see this cop back right out of his spot and go for the long haul to catch me so i tell my wife that we are about to get pulled over and she says ok. So i get off at the new exit and whoop the lights go...
so i sit there he says all that good info and so you know us military drop the military ID in their face and then play with the wallet to get the license out haha... So he checks me out and i am good well he says whats going on i said office look my wife is having contractions and is about to have a baby and i have been back from Iraq for one day. he then said ooohh soooo why did you get off at this exit and say sir i have been back from iraq for 1 day and all i see is you coing down the rode chasing me and it scared me then i realized i was helping you out so you didnt have to worry about standing on the side of the hwy after pulling me over.........
jump9.gif
at that point i was still holding it in and my wife almost lost it and he said ok no problem just slow it down a little this hwy is oh 65mph and you are lucky i got you cause some other guy may have given you a ticket...... he left and OMG is all i can say

Dude, it's all cool. And yes, we've all done our share of stupid sh!t. We were all just lucky enough to survive and we're hoping you will be too.

I usually tell people, "Just reach down with your hand and rub it on the asphalt for a bit. Then imagine that times 1,000." Lotsa hurt there.

Eh. Like I said, I just hope you survive long enough to enjoy it all!

Cheers!
