Socket in my muffler.

a few on this site have modified their stock cans and they look tons better, deeper sound to them also, from what others have posted. If u don't want to dump the cash into a full system, and have all the necessary tools to modify the stock cans and feel comfortable doing so, go for it. I have my stock pipes in the basement i can give u for nearly free if u mess em up lol

At a friends house one time. Looking out the side window we see the neighbor's little boy patiently and carefully, funneling handful after handful of gravel and dirt from the driveway, into the gas tank filler of his dad's pickup.

9/16 socket retrieved. Couldn't get a retrieval tool to work so off the can came. 10 minutes later all was well. I did decide to start it without the muffler on it. The cats must really quiet it down as it wasn't that loud! I think you are right about it being a good reason to get a new exhaust. I plan to make my own for a good project. Can't see paying $1000 for something I have the tools to attempt.
as mentioned above, i ran shorty stock cans for 2yrs. and loved it. she puts out a very nice sound once you cut them down and you lose a few pounds to boot.
