Yeah...Revlis hit on it up there in his post...the quality isn't horrible, but it isn't worth the $12,000 you just laid down for one of the lower end models either...
Rev was referring to a recent incident with my husband and I...we'd been out riding all day, ended up stopping in a high school parking lot to talk to some friends...the guy was looking over my bike and seemed to like it, and my husband was doing the usual "it's a Jap bike...damn rice burner" routine...
...just about the time he got a chuckle from everyone, including myself, at my expense, a little chrome grip end just tumbled off of his bike and hit the asphault...ding ding...and there lies chrome, embossed with the little H-D logo and all...I cried I was laughing so hard! Nothing big, but it couldn't have been timed better if we tried!
