More like 15%...indicated 200 with 15% error is 170 actual speedThe darn speedometer was bouncing around 210 mph...it must be optimistic on the big end to the tune of 30% !!
Hey this is lookin suspesiously like a kento ride ...Good question...it's a $275 Beltronics and I bought a Y fitting so the Zumo (xm radio) dovetails with the detector then to my earbuds...it worked awesome! Coming back on Hwy 395 (Cali) I ran into 3 CHP cars and got good early warning each time....I learned the second you get the alert-jam on that front brake! I'm feeling all guilty(80 in a 55) and in all 3 cases the Chippie never even looked at me! I'm worried that this will make me feel falsely invincible, I guess that worry is what will keep me rolling at reasonable speeds in the future. Raydog
I dont understand, Cant you adjust those fancy rear sets you bought?Well your #'s are close to mine, maybe with Ibprophin we could both go farther....the rearsets yesterday, after 400 miles, were painful! I'm 6" 230 and I pried my body off the bike in my garage! It did go away after a nice Jacuzzi however. It's not how far legs are back, it's how far UP, resulting in a few degrees of prolonged posturing with heels closer to butt. I'm still new with it and, like I said before, high performance riding (track or twisties) require rearsets in my view. If they were just to look cool, I'd take em off, it's about cornering clearance and knee down stuff. Again, for motel type tours with gear and shaving kits, the Buells are going back on.
