Sorry turbo guys

or you could just enjoy the bike anyway that suits you.
If you win you win if you lose you lose Be humble in the first case and be gracious in the second
its not the end of the world.
yes... as I said.... don't get dead.... but I gotta assume he wants to be fast, hence the turbo buildup.... but one thing is key here..... dennis and busakiller didn't just decide to drag race these bikes last week... its been years and years they have been doing this.... form is second NATURE to them.... and reactions under heavy acceleration are second nature.... for the rest of us.... we have to pay close attention to body position and KEEPING ure weight over the front tire.... its allllll practice..... I have a mustang that I CONSTANTLY drag race.... constantly... ill never turn down a drag race... I drive the car in blizzards.... year round.... I KNOW the car very very well... and what works and what doesn't...…… its allll practice. the mustang is no hayabusa…….. BUT good luck outrunning me with another bolt on mustang or camaro.

Jesus. That was embarrassing. Those guys are local to me. I’m hoping to do some riding with them after seeing Frank. They are very fast. They have done some serious weight loss to those liter bikes, and they can ride as well. However that busa was just a complete embarrassment. He should have at least pulled like a freight train and caught up at some point.
he is very young.... and green I think.... the OP has stated that THIS was his first street race...… A TURBO BUSA..... FIRST STREET race..... think about how scary that is..... I cant even remember my first street race..... but I remember putting a cb900f into the woods and never finding my wallet...…… a person shouldn't be having their first street race on a TURBO busa…. long learning curve.

...and to your credit, this is a tough crowd to post a race video to especially if you weren't victorious.

I still stand on my views of street racing, so many things can and will go wrong which will end a life (yours or someone's) quickly.

Even racing on a track is dangerous and people on the track are all like-minded unlike the Prius driver who pulls in front of you at "mach chicken" speeds.

I have your wallet. Lol. Very true. I say we support him and meet up and do some races with him. Teach him some stuff with people he can feel comfortable with. Gotta support the .org guys.

So Josh let me know and we’ll do some riding. I’m going to see Frank on Thursday for a tune, so anytime after that I’ll be around. I’m probably closest to you. I’ll be available probably every night after that. We’ll do some riding and have some fun.

Know what your saying, I progressed, Dirt, KZ1000, Katana 750, ZX9R, Busa, Turbo Busa, Turbo GSXR, by the time I was to the GSXR was running consistant high 8s on a stock motored GSXR Surprised a lot of people, even when I was running high 9's on my stock piped 00 Busa, and weighing over 200lbs. People don't realize there is some skill to racing these in a straight line. Not saying I am or I should say was lol great, but would say better than your avg squid, and you can make up for lack of power with skill.

Hey don't feel to bad set up of a bike to get everything spot on can take years which is just what the guys you were racing have done. With proper gearing, longer arm, launch RPM and seat time it would be a lot closer but that green Ninja is a perfected Beast that has taken many riders no doubt.

There's more than a couple things disturbing with this video.

First, where's the gear? Don't get running like that without gear, a pebble, bee, or anything hits you at these speeds and they are like bullets. This says nothing of what happens when you go down...

Second, a bike with more than 100 hp over the other two bikes should have stomped them regardless of straps or wheel base especially on roll on runs like that. Riding lessons and track time would do the world of good here.

Third, those other two bikes (especially the ZX) are absolute rockets...They make the Busa look like it's a stock bike...that shouldn't be happening.
Hallo this is joke , I have turbo busa my self and you are not able to sit on it like this are doing, ( would left you behind on the tarmac ) .

You don’t need a turbo bike. Just a nice set up Ike. I believe this busa just has intake cams. Solid runner. Makes me wonder what my bike would do.

There's some fast bikes on this video, it goes to show who gets the jump, gets the win.

I'd say the OP bike has at least a speed shifter and pipe, probably an ECU flash and tune as well...

I didn't care much for their choice of riding gear but they are all grown ups (I think).
