Good thread. Wish I read it first. The manual is WAY off - missed many steps.
My 04 in addition to the mounting bolt and actuator hose (under the box) listed in the manual needed to remove
one small rubber hose in the rear
two larger rubber hoses in the rear
3-wire connector - push out on the release tab
2-wire connector push in in the release tab
2 clamp screws mentioned previously (just loosen)
During the box re-install, it was necessary to wipe a little dish detergent on 4 rubbers to get them to slide fully onto the throttle bodies.
Also of interest is that a standard auto compression tester does not have the small thread needed here. Ones at Harbor Freight did (but they are very cheaply made).
On mine, about 5 clicks were heard/felt before the coil assy was fully seated.
