I agree tbone. I think your mistake was violating the unwritten rule that anything Earnhart is sacred and not to be trifled with. A questionable joke about Jeff Gordon would likely not stir up an equal reaction. Other off-color jokes on this board go by frequently without even a raised eyebrow. I guess we need to learn to be a bit more PC around here, or others need to learn to take a joke at face value.
I prefer that others need to get a sense of humor... lord knows things have degraded towards uber-PC in the world enough as it is.
