Speed Bleeders....

i have a set on my cobra & love them.. don't need anyone else to bleed them & NO air comes in! like he said.. still pedal in 2 pulses/5minutes

Mine are working pretty good. Oh, and the bleeder bag comes in really handy...

My biggest concern is under a malfunction. What happens if extreme pressure is applied in a hard braking situation and they fail? Does the brake fluid squirt out as if you were bleeding them?

My understanding is that the only difference between speed-bleeders and stock is the check valve that prevents air from entering the system while bleeding is accomplished. Once the bleeder is tight, it behaves exactly like the stock part, and no pressure is exerted against the check valve.

If I'm F.O.S. by all means, let me know!

I just put mine on the other day, and I LOVE them!!! Should be stock on everthing out there!

I installed mine when I did a front brake job... Man how did I make it without speed bleeders before :dunno:
So much easier no more pumping, no more gravity bleeding. pop open squeeze and top off. Go riding:cheerleader:

By the way, the clutch bleeder is different then the brake caliper bleeders,They will thread in but wont tighten  thankfully I didnt eat threads on the slave cyl.

Can these bleed a completely empty line? Getting some braided lines and wondering if I'll need a mity vac. If these can do the trick thats even better.

Haven't tried to bleed a line fresh, but I would think it might be easier to get fluid to the calipers and then swap the bleeders; no need to worry about air in the system... the speed bleeders are amazing! I have them on Bessie all the way around and now I am putting them on the SV!

I personally would bleed the mc then fill the new lines with brake fluid then install the lines and then bleed from there... will the speed bleeders work with empty lines... i doubt it.

I installed new braided lines and speed bleeders. Was awesome! toke like 2 minutes to bleed them

So after installing the new lines, you loosen the speed bleeders, put fluid in the reservoir, and pump the lever - topping up where necessary until all the air is removed? Is this the correct method?
