my rear tire on my b-king is shot again already but the front looks like new, what happens if i run mich. pp2 race on the front and mich pp2 road on the rear. dave

If you run race on the front and road on the rear, you can do road-racing. Sorry couldn't resist.

It will be ok, if you are dragging a knee it might be different, but i would do it.

Not a problem, but why you would want to run a race tire on the street ???

I've ran a Road 2 on the rear of my Busa with a Pilot Power on the front, worked great. Same set-up should work just as good on your B-King.
Downside was, burned the front up with a good 1000 miles left in the rear.
Why don't you just put Road 2s on both ends?

Because he wants the front to stay planted. You can work with a loose rear but the front is a little more unforgiving.

I'm going to a BT016 front and a BT021 rear on my busa soon!

Come on Tuf, he's got a B-King. How often do you ride a big standard to the point of needing a race tire to keep the front end "planted"?
I've ran my Road 2 front to the edge on both sides with no grip issues. They stick just fine for anything short of a real death wish, plus they might actually wear evenly so you don't always go around half the time with a wore out front and a newer rear.
