Got bored this weekend and did some stuff.

Had a fun time, masking off that perfect 1/16th inch line all the way around for a nice silver border. Looks much better than the flat silver, it always had chain lube and road dirt. The black hides everything except the little bit of dirt that is on it now.

Also blacked out the center of the Brocks pipe, gives it a nice contrast with the polished pipe and ties in well with the black frame and swing arm I think.  Hard to tell from the photos.

If you let it go long enough, it will turn black on it's own

I used PJ's Blue label clear chain lube and then I spay some WD-40 onto a rag and wipe the flat sides (both left and right) of the chain, sprocket, and wheel to give it that nice brand new look. Really keeps it looking nice. That chain has 2500 miles on it now and has never been cleaned except for last weekend. (yes it is always lubed, just not cleaned

)

Side note, WD-40 is the best hand cleaner around. Instructions: Spray hands down with it and under finger nails, wipe clean with a rag and then go wash off with Dish soap or GoJo to get the WD-40 off.

Stupid low light high flash photos really pick up on all the dirt lol. I will have to use the good camera with some daylight shots so it will look much better. For paint, I used High heat Ceramic Black. Gives a medium gloss and goes on thick.

Looks sweet, but you should have taken the hedge pruner to that shovel hanging off the rear.

Great idea with the foam along the swingarm! If lamb is seeing that right!

Good mods

I see "literally" your point

It is sort of a tradition to rag people on this board who post up pics of their bikes with either warning stickers or reflectors.

So, there you have officially been ragged
