Bike really looks great jinx, but just curious, why no undertail or not even a stock trim job?

Fair question...good question...so here's my best honest answers.

1. I did a poor mans/trim the stock undertail on both my ZRX and my FZ1 and it looked clean and cool but...there's no denying that it threw roadmist/sand/rain water up the backside of the bike....usually leaving a fine coating of sand and road slime on my tail-light....all the time.

2. I'll be damned if I'd ever blow hundreds on an aftermarket undertail...suspension ugrades?..yes...engine upgrades?..yes...plastic?..unt-uh....no way.

3. Living in south florida I understand the importance of great rear lighting..tail, brake and DIRECTIONALS...especially with all the spring/summer rains and blueheads we have down here...and the only one I see that even comes close to stock oem visibility and brightness is the Clear Alternatives LED combination Tail-Light/Directionals unit..and...it only "Comes Close"...so?..I might do that someday and trim up the stock fender a bit but...I'm in no rush...like...last on the list.

The Gremlin Bell is to help keep the engine running on a Harley to help you get off the main road so all the Metric bikers don't see you broke down.. Your local Harley Shop carries a fine selection of bells..

hmmm...so because you've seen these on many HD's this warrants such an ugly thought/response?....and I know your angle...I'm almost 48 and been riding the streets on two wheels since I was 15 with a restricted DL...and yes...the gremlin bell originated predominantly amidst HD riders...as a kind gesture of a strong spirited fellowship mixed with kind thoughts and intentions...thusly....are you saying that such should be limited exclusively to HD riders?...cause if so?...then maybe all I've heard said about us by them over the years is true as well..well?...not all of us...as I deeply appreciated recieving my gremlin bell.

I just can't believe it - a bell? My fat short haired cat has one that I put on her for occasional entertainment!

Wont you hear some strange noise at high speed?

The last strange noise I heard at high speed came equipped with it's own light show...and you were there...thank god!

I never heard of them until my mom got one for me ( yes they are HOG members ).

I first saw them in Daytona..about a decade ago...by and in large exclusively on HD's..and have seen many many since over the years during Bike Week and Biketoberfest...and there's some HD traditions and demeanors that I think are cool...especially the part of how the gremlin bell alledgedly doesn't work if you buy it for yourself....and only work if gifted unto you by another...and as hokey as that may sound to some?...I find it to be an extremely thoughtful and heartfelt gift...also..these things are only like $10..."shipped"....and the little stone lockbox they come in is cool as shid also...btw....I showed my wife and daughters the gremlin bell on my busa and they loved it...not so much the bell but..the idea and thoughts behind it...knowing that someone out there cares enough about you to do such a thing is priceless and now I smile evertime I see it or hear it tinkle at my heel....so I say bfd that it's of HD borne origin..as this is one HD tradition I don't mind seeing slip into the mainstream sportbikers world...it's goodness...pure and simple.
