Spring Bash 2008

I cant wait for this trip. Juli and I are extremely excited. I talked to Busasweety and I think they may be able to make the trip too, and they wont be staying too far away from the Phillips. Hal, what day are you going up? I think we were planning on meeting Dennis in St. Louis and then heading up Wednesday.

So you going to be 2-up or Juli bringing the new ride this year?

Hal, if is Juli comfortable, we will be bringing her new ride as well, but we will most likely trailer if we bring both bikes. I hope my taxes will allow me to purchase a good used enclosed trailer, if not, we will be riding 2-up. I have confirmed with Dennis to stay at his house on Tuesday night. It looks like we may have quite a caravan to the Phillips on Wednesday. I also check with Ms Reba today, we are still good to go for our room, Wed through Sun.  

It will be good to convoy out. Last year the guys rode part way, then put the busas in the trailer and rode in the truck when they wanted to take a break. If you end up riding I'm sure you would be able to take a break and put yours in the truck too and take a breather. It is a long haul riding all the way.

We can only afford one vacation a year. And we've decided to go to the greater Northwest this year. But thank you for missing us already  

And trust me, we'll be missing everyone and the riding and the scenery and the bonfires and the stories and the bratburgers and ZukRacer stinking up the cottage and Mark's salty nuts.

We just decided to visit some long lost friends this year~ By doing so, it's gonna eat up all our vacation time at once~ Which meant pulling out the week we spend at the Bash~ We owe these friends a visit as they have, after leaving this area over a year ago, kept in touch and have since been back here and shared some of their time with us~ There is always next year... I'm sure it will take me much longer then that to get LadyHawk to convert to HD~

As a few may know already, I am going to get "event pins" for "Spring Bash".

They are a cloisonne, collectible jewelery quality pin (no cheap enamel stuff here)

Attendees, if you could take a moment and look at the choices available (got to pick one) so that I can get these done in plenty of time for the bash..

There are a couple with the Kanji and I am pretty sure that I can get the Kanji in different colors..

Any profits from the pins will be given over to Doug along with any extra pins. Not sure if they will be available to "non attendees" or not.. guess that is to be decided if there are any extras after the event (will have at least 100 pins)
