Spring  Busa Bash 2007

The only initiation will be from the mid-westerners... Something about the letter "R"  

We still love ya PD even if you New Yaukers talk funny. I can taste that knotty head fish sandwitch already! mmmmmmmm

Actually, they were crying over the "dry county" stuff more than anything...then, when the marshmallows came out for the fire, well, they were crying all over again...

The family is planning a trip to IN is April so maybe I can trailer the bike down to IN and ride to TN/NC Border to Deals Gap from there.

Most stay at the Phillips, right there in downtown Robbinsville

Rooms are around $50 I think. Last time we got a 3 bedroom cabin and shared it with someone else. You'll have to call them, and I'd book it as soon as you can, if fills up fast.

Great news Sonny, you will have a great time! I will be trailering the busa out again this year in an enclosed trailer. I think OMSLAW will be going too. I'll have room for you if you want to ride or trailer the busa up to KC and go with us.

I'm voting for:
Prepay for tshirts
Pay for the brats the cookout night. Stamp a hand or something - no pay, no eat.
Do a 50/50 raffle the cookout night for a Street n Track gift certificate (to be mailed out later if needed). 50% to the Org, 50% for the gc.$20 entry fee.
Prepay for Killboy and CD.

That way people can choose what they want.

OhmyGod no kidding, 1200 miles!! You have to time it just right- enough tread to get there (riding the Dragon the last 50 miles!), buy a new tire, scrub it in, ride a few days, ride it home, buy another tire!!

Trailer sounds good...

Travis, we will do some riding together this year for sure! I plan on getting there on Thursday this time so we have more time to ride. Are you going to trailer out with Hooken again? I wish I could leave when you guys do, but I'm stretching things with mama now.

Vman, I have no problem with a package deal for shirts, dvd, cookout, raffle etc. The only comment I have regarding the shirts is that although I liked the design OK, the printing was very light on the colors. The dvd I got was worth the cost of the whole package!

I am gonna contact Ron and Nancy at Tail of the Dragon.com and see what kind of price we can get on a small run of shirts. Maybe 50.

These will be prepay only before the order is placed. That way no one is out any cashola.

I have no problem handling the DVD just like last year, that seemed to work well.

On the Brats, we do need to make sure Kevin is taken care of. He has gone over and above bringing them each year for us to put away.

On to the grand pooba prize. I will still keep this a free event with no registration fees to keep everyone happy and not to pressure anyone.

Most want some sort of 50/50 or a Grand Prize. I have no problem with that. This is our rally and lets make it the best one yet.
