Spring  Busa Bash 2007

(vman1300 @ Sep. 25 2006,08:46) As usual, with all the good times and laughs over the last weekend, its time to plan for the Spring Bash.

A couple of regulars, well most of the regulars kinda of tossed the last weekend of April on the table.

The weekend dates would be Friday the 27th-Sunday the 29th. I checked my calander and dont see any issues.

For the newbie Bashers, we will be staying at the Phillips Motel in Robbinsville. Contact info can be found here.

It is never to early to make reservations.

I would like to do a few things different for the give away items. Of course we would have the usual items from our store and who ever else will be gracious enough to help out.

Last Spring we kicked around a "registration fee" so to speak. If we go that route we could set a fee and it could cover several things.

a tee shirt
pic CD- weather permitting of course

For the something different, maybe have a grand prize to give away bought with part of the registration fee.

At the 2006 R1-Forum rally, a $2000.00 shopping spree was given away. Keep in mind, the R1 rally had nearly 200 attendes. The fee was $60.00 and it covered food as well, but no shirt.

We could do the same with Street and Track. A shopping spree or a big prize.

I am just throwing ideas on the table..........

I really would like some feedback on what you folks would like.

Do we keep it as years past or try to add a "grand prize" to be given away.

I am the worst post ho around and can change the the direction on any thread. Lets try to keep this thread on-topic and keep the ho'ing to a minimum.

Lets get a few ideas on what we as a group want to do...........

Just saw Deals Gap on Superbikes with the R-1 guys from KY. Was looking for you Kev., but didn't see ya. Is the guy from that show also a member from here? He shamelessly plugged ICON and I know we have a spokesmodel from ICON here. But I forget his screename.

I got my 5 seconds of fame at the overlook when they were scanning the crown. The wife and I are standing in front of Shane.

I do not think the host is a member here.....

Thinker62 is the guys with the ICON ads, Jason Britton is the host of Superbikes. Kev, I thought I saw the V's on your jacket.... looked like you were zipping it up or something? Somesort of movement anyway...

i remember seeing that episode as well.  but i think that guy is sponsored by ICON and rides for Ducati or atleast he was riding a Ducati...

If Hank hadn't come and finished them off, you could've had more.

I'm willing to cook again.. I loves to cook, especially for a group of hungry men. Musta learned that from my grandma (the wife of a farmer and the mother of farmer's 3 boys).

dang, looks like i miss all the action not stayin at the phillips... im not gonna have anyone cooking me breakfast. after all, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.....

and yes, my mother still wakes me up in the morning for work and cooks me breakfast.

if it were up to me, id never move out. its jsut a shame that i cant bring her with me to the bash.
