Spring  Busa Bash 2007

Hi everyone, I know I have not posted up for a while.

Some unexpected situations have come up and I wont be able to make it to the Busa Bash this year after all.

I was really looking forward to meeting everyone.

Best Wishes to you all, ride safe and have lots of fun!...

I will keep my eye out for some pictures when everyone returns. Who knows hopefully next year will be my year...

We'll have to get together for a local ride sometime this summer... after everyone is well healed and ready to ride!

Sonny, what a guy. Wouldn't think of riding an org members busa. Tell you what I can do, I'll bring the Rebel 250 and a tow rope for you to use.  

Some one take Hal up on this. He has been offering EVERYONE to ride the 250.

Hal, I say bring it. some one will ride it. Maybe even some 2-up(Yamahor and Cap come to mind atm).

The reason is that I had some unfortunately events happen over Easter Weekend.  Two of my family members passed away between the Friday before Easter and the Monday After.  

Definately would like to get together over the summer for a local ride.

You all have some fun for me and ride safe.

The dragon is in great form this week I have been there the last 3 days ridiing. The m-3's are a great tire here they just stick to the road my elephants are gone. Watch out for some leaves and rocks in the roads. There are signs in one place now for rocks, pay attention to them. Today it was around 60 degrees there. I met a tranfer truck head on yesterday. He had both lanes coverd Just be careful . I also had a bmw with bags slide across the road right behind me he saved it but scared the crap out of me. Gas for premium is around 2.88 a gallon here. I have one more day up here to ride then I have to back to savannah. also there was a guy there today in a red ford ranger that was dangerous and passed a r-6 in a curve the rider stayed up but was shaken up a bit. Just remember to move over and let the faster pass dont try to speed up past your comfort level, One more thing the white lines here are slick I watched well followed a fz-6 through today the guy was in too high of gear and rode the brakes into every curve hit every white line the bike wobbled on every turn. he would slide off of the line every time. maybe cheap tires but our power can over take almost all tires. Have a blast. I only saw two police officers today there. Oh yea go ride make the ride to cherokee then over to gatlinburg on the parkway WOW nice day long ride. I did 200 miles today and had a blast.

hell, i been countin the days since i first made plans to attend..... whats even worse is im havin dreams about ridin the dragon....

Well got the RV loaded and all the finishing touches are done. Just have to load the bike, hook it up and roll.

I may even head up Monday night but if not I'll get here mid afternoon on Tuesday. God I can't wait.
