Springtime means Modtime!

you want to come over and organize my garage?

You know, I spent all day Saturday getting skis and empty Starbucks cups, etc. out of the way! Kind of a Winter accumulation. It feels SO MUCH better to work on that thing with a clean space and good music (and the rest of the family away doing their things!). Raydog

bellywing
Who makes that wing?
I'm sorry, I don't remember, I bought it from someone on the org (used) It feels like a composite material, I'll know after the new arm goes on...that bottom bracket will definitely require I trim the wing. If I had to guess, I'd guess Yani Shiki...OK, no criticism, it's not a moving part! Raydog

Man I wish I had the smarts, and balls to work on my own bike.

Thanks Kenny, but I'm 60 and started out at 14 helping around old Triumph and Matchless shops! I've owned over 60 bikes....my point is, it's not about balls, it's just years and passion in the sport. Start out with little things (oil changes, suspension adjustments, etc.) and just try more and more, it's a natural evolution! ...and saves $ too. Stay safe bro. Raydog

It scares me everytime I see a bike torn down like that. Deep down I think 'what if it cant be put back together?

Nice job I just took the plastics off mine putting on a brocks megaphone.

Doyle....The question is: will it still be 70 degrees in Reno when you finish the assembly so we can read your road test?

I bet it'll be closer to 80 by end of week. I bought a new CD player too....listened to Cars, Al Green, Rod Stewart and Bob Seger at FULL VOLUME all day! Hey Kevin (Malibusa), don't forget to start planning for Laguna Seca, it's never too early!.
