I had vortex sprockets on my SV and the teeth were bending after about 3000 miles.

I kept the front stock and went up on the rear. Not as much whear on the chain(At least thats what i was told)

either or is fine. They are both steel sprockets. I am putting a vortex on my bike

There really isnt a best one they are pretty much the same. Its just a matter of brand preference

Either sprocket is ok, it's whether or not your trying to go up or down on the size..(teeth)...
