Standing Mile

I might go 17/38, first try to see what it does. I'll probably maintain my stock 40 for around town

I need to be close to 10400 at the trap because a stock Busa should peak somewhere around 10.4, 10.5.  I've watched some stock Busas and they all hit 6th in the standing mile. I need to make some local runs, I'm thinking I can hit 10.5 in every gear and hit 6th within a half mile. That would give me a half mile to run 6th from around 9.8 up to 10.4.

this is where things get interesting with rate of acceleration, etc....

just don't go nuts trying to get it right before you go. Alot of it is going to come down to trial/error/test/tune.

Also alot has to do with seat time... Good consistant launch... good roll-on with 1st n 2nd, quick shifts (rememvber you only need to shift into 6th the first time), good tuck, etc...
