starter motor woes

I had the same problems because of high compression. We added a extra battery just for the starter and that solved the problem. I have to keep the battery charged because it is not connected to anything but the starter. But I have not had that problem again!!

Motor,

You are correct(as usual). Too much lead combined with TOO slow rotation.
