Stock Exhuast

So out of question last night..I weighed the entire stock exhuast since I ditched it after buying the bike last summer to put on my full Ti Force Ti system with Carbon 380mm can. The stock exhuast weight is 49.2lbs when removed and I've not found it yet...but believe the carbon full Ti 4-2-1 system is approx 20lbs...so 30 lbs savings.

Stock curb weight 573lbs
Removed Exhuast and Ti force installed 543lbs
Removed the mud flap and relfecters etc 3.4 lbs
So average weigth right now full fuel etc 540lbs

Average fatness over a current Liter bike about 120 lbs /6lbs per hp to fig out your break even on power to weight ratio ..you need 20 more HP at the wheel to run with an average 150-160 rwhp liter bike

Well both my 08 and 09 Busa's both pulled 184hp at the wheel with 20/50 weight oil, no special ram air, light wheels....simply stock other then the pipe and the pair valve removed. I still run the stock filter also due to the dusty Mid west garbage. I gained about 10hp from the pipe and tune at Ryan's on both bikes. I know there are other pipes pulling more HP...but I love the fit, finish and sound of the Ti-force w/ Carbon cans and the Sumo headers..so I bought it again for this one I picked up at the end of the riding season last year.

I know lots of rave about swaping the one cam out, thinner had gasket and some stronger springs are gaining 15+ HP from that mod....
