Stock motor GSXR1000 anyone go 200 yet?

I went 207mph on a KWS prepped stage 4 (1143cc) GSXR. It also had a cut down fuel tank. KWS built an awsome bike and it ran great. Hope this helps, good luck.

Don't think that you will see 200 mph on a 'stock' engine...but good luck :beerchug:

How fast did you go on the stock motor?

We never ran it with the stock motor. I think it could be possible to run 200 with stock bore and stroke, the set up would have to be right.

i'd think itd be possible with a stretch and some spray. but what do i know?

Greg:

I guess it depends on how you define stock but I am not aware of a 1000cc stock motor bike that has gone 200 officially. To run in PP class it has to appear stock but can be built internally and that class doesnt have a 200 mph record. MPS and APS allow external mods and doesnt regulate internals be stock and MPS has over 200mph records by Sal/Ace performance.

I hope the bike will enter the SSB 1000cc class with its owner riding yes? Chad Millholland sold his 200mph ZX-10 and will not be there, so the door is open.

The owner is 280lbs.... so we will see.

I dont think with anyone 280 or even 180 you have a chance on a 1000cc bike without nitrous to go 200. Chad as you know is a perfect jockey and he went 202 on my ZX-10 with a little nitrous and 207 on the big KWS bike as he mentioned earlier.

The thing about most of these entrants is that you dont really know what is done to them internally in terms of bore, pistons etc. They just pick a class and youhave to assume it really meets those cc rules unless you protest it.

These stock motors are very surprising these days...blows some peoples minds~!~

Tell me about it. You'd be surprised if you knew how many people said Bob and I could have never gone as fast as we did on stock motor. Guys with 40-shots couldn't run what we ran and were NOT happy about it....

Now I laugh as several others have done what we have done with the same mods and Brock's exhaust...
