Dont hate....educate.
Have you hugged a cop today?

no, and I NEVER EVER EVER WILL.

LEOs in Milwaukee can KISS MY....u know how it goes.

Perhaps it is time to "move" on to greener pastures. I know the mystique and allure of Old Milwaukee(I dunno how to spell that) is second to none, but maybe you should consider movin to a more "BigDiesel" friendly locale. Like say, Bonneville!?!
Okay, Ill back off before I lose a new friend.

Just tryin to lighten ya up a lil, aight.

let me clarify here-I dont mind paying fines for speeding-Im ALWAYS speeding, and I know what happens when you get caught....but the lil d**kheads have to go OUT OF THEIR WAY to trump up the charges n bill me more $$-thats garbage....and then they get the Insurance companies involved (make'em pay 10times as much because 'theys a liability'...even tho they NEVER HIT A CAR in their LIFETIME) to rip us off even more.

I never do wheelies/stunt stuff-all I do is speed. every where. right now I cant really do much seein as how I havent had a valid DL for a year.
wow.gif

Nah, I drive big FAST boats along the coast lookin for REAL criminals
SHOCKED.gif
Oh no he did'nt! well yes I did!
firedevil.gif

Good thing there is NO SPEED LIMIT on the open water. Still down wit me, bro man?

I can't stand using traffic infractions as a primary income source to support police departments.  I think most people will agree that in general, people would be safer if more cops were going after criminals than commuters going 10 over the posted limit and failing to make a complete stop at a stop sign.

Anyone who walks around certain streets in down-town Seattle can spot drug deals going on in plain sight during mid-day.  If my mom can see it happening, so can an undercover cop.  But I know I'm more likely to see that cop pulling over motorists, not 3 blocks away, to give them a ticket for taking the "carpool only" freeway entrance.  I'm sure there are many other cities that are the same way.

Policing in America originated from the people of small towns getting together and paying for someone to protect the people of the town from criminals.  These days, people don't have any say in how they are policed... taxes are mandatory and the money for the cops you don't want is taken from the taxes you don't have a choice not to pay.  I'm not saying that people shouldn't have to pay their fair share to support the infrastructure that is around us all and that we all benefit from... but I'd like to see police officers doing their job in a way that makes me more likely to feel served and protected when I see a cop, rather than feel scared that I might be about to get a ticket for something that might be illegal, but damn sure wasn't unsafe.

In most cases I think that people should be free to do what they want, provided it doesn't harm anyone else.  I've never lost control of a vehicle excepting momentary slippage in the snow, and I've never been in an accident while I was driving.  If I wasn't afraid to get speeding tickets all the time, I would probably speed significantly over the posted limits most of the time... but I know my limits and I know the limits of the vehicles I drive, and I don't need the law to keep my driving safe. I need them to find real criminals who want to sell drugs and steal my property.

Bogus charges are what piss me off. Give them what the earned. Speeding, reckless, improper lane changing - yes. But racing, come on. A race with a 600 could get to 120+ from a stand still in a 1/4 mile.
So who thinks driving 75 to 100 is racing?

Shoot man look at what their doing to us with this gas tax right now and saying all kinds of lies about the real reasons why gas prices are so high...........I see them trying to Break Americas Backbone "the Middle Class" at every turn these days.
Ask Yourself this Question:
Why is it that 50 Years ago you could buy a home with ONE THOUSAND GOLD COINS and Today it Takes the same amount 1000 Gold Coins Today to buy that same very home............But the 1000 Gold coins was $2000.00 Then and the very same coinstoday cost $200,000.00+ answer= DeValue of our currency & Inflation the hidden tax on us all!
The sleeping masses are chasing their tails to make ends meet and bothmen and women are out working now, 50 years ago mostly just the men worked, and families had more to show for the one incomethan todays families do.
All of this POLICE ACTIONfor this kind of "problem" sportbike hoodlems.......is a joke.
Mr Policeman need to be looking for more serious problems to solve, Terrorist are at large and our borders are wide open for them to come in and the drug smugglers to bring in the dope.................Air America C.I.A. is really behind that and thats why Nothing gets done............Build more Prisons it is the New Economy, police state build up, militarized police forces to be used against U.S. Citizens, Lock Downs at our Schools....I thought LOCK DOWNwas a prison term and action.......................The New America.
And the new target for building up business "the working class"....................

I think exceeding 100mph and stunting in traffic is pretty serious.

I can agree, to point. I guess you have to:
1) live somewhere near a track.
2)Have a schedule that is agreeable with travel/cost.
3) I dunno of any tracks open at midnite(when alot of people get off of work and are able to go ridin).
4) really understand how much fun it is.

Im sorry- I musta missed tha opening of a track where you can go flat-out 190+.....there arent any in WI, I can tell you that.

I could give 2 spits about cuttin corners-I'm 6' 7" n 220lbs- they dont make leathers in my size under $1500-and Im not spending that much on a funny-lookin monkey-suit that I get to wear for 10 sec. or less just to go down the 1/4 mi-I live close enuf to Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove WI to go, but both times I went the first year I had the Busa, I got booted because the bike was goin over 120mph in the traps n I didnt have leather pants.... the track official's advice was "slow down at the top n you wont break out" then WTF is the point of paying $$ to use your f***ing track?
I can drive SLOW on the street-I came to go flat-out, and they were telling me I CANT because Im too big and cant afford some ugly-azz leathers. SO-I'll stick to my empty freeways at night...where I know every inch of concrete, every bump, every crack-just as safe as the 15-year old track at "Da Grove" that they havent repaved for like 4 years IMO, and I've yet to see a LEO vehicle out here that can catch the Busa, so flame me if you want, but I do what I do and the only thing that'll stop me is BAD WEATHER

The number of people that seem to think riding like this should go unpunished amazes me.  This kind of behavior only serves to make the public and the police assume all sport bike riders are hazardous nut cases.

I don't have a lot of sympathy for 'em...do stupid and illegal stuff, suck it up and take your medicine when you get caught...it's the rest of us that pay the price anyway...the stigma will never go away...

Cameras and speed reading devices are already in negotiation here in Texas. I completely agree that this is far too gone. The reality is that while I have no reason to hide from the authorities, I want the ability too.

However, on the rest I will partially disagree. The "they" that you are referring to is the governement, but the "they" that you should be watching is not the government as much as the corporations. "They" scare me far more than anyone else does.

Water rights purchases, because the companies want to profit on your right to drink water. Oil and Gas reserves under anywhere that they can get them so that they can suck a little more juice out of the earth. The Big 3 lobbying billions so that they can sell their POS cars with minimal EPA standars. Who cares if the earth gets destroyed in the process? My profit margins can't go down to help it, that is someone elses problem.

As for the middle class, strangely being middle class I have a simple resolve for that. Work harder and be an entrepreneur. The reality is that people are the masters of their own destiny and the middle class average person is a dumbass for ever thinking that someone else was going to take care of them for life. For those that want the option, you have two choices. Unionize and ensure that you have a job forever (not my style personally), and pray you are senior enough when you collapse your company in the global economy. Or you can go out there and forge your own path.

there was something like that here 2 ladies left a stop light together in a 20 zone and where talkin car to car and a cop wrote them tickets for drag racing one was in her 50's the other 39
what are the police thinkin i mean just cause your riding in pairs they can give you racing tickets
a bunch of B,S in my opinion

if the cops turn on their lights florr the bastids will follow

Here's an interesting article from the American Motorcyclist Association that has some pertinence to the conversation.
Big brother is definitely here to stay. There is no such thing as privacy any longer. I saw a system demo yesterday that would among lots of other things compare the address you give a hospital registration clerk to where you have your pizza delivered and inform them of how much available credit you have on your cards.

However, insane driving on busy roads doesn't help the situation in the least
