I'm still torn on this. More rubber will provide a bigger contact patch. But it will also wear faster, and require more lean angle. And the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV has an even taller option than the Dunlop Q5S. The Pirelli comes in a 200/60ZR17 80W...

Or, I simply stick with the original plan and get the adequate and durable

Correct the 200 would be more rounded/pointed allowing for quicker turn in and a larger contact patch while leaned over.

But the recommended rim size [for the 200] is 6.25 in.
On a 6-in rim, squeezing the wider tire should make it even taller. My concern is that I would like to avoid a flatter profile and the consequent reduction in ease of turning.
I imagine the 200 on a 6-in rim should turn as easily or more easily than the 190. Can you confirm? Many thanks...
.... The 200/55 is approximately a ½” taller than the 190/55.

Looking for new tires. On my 6-in rims, I know I want the taller 55 aspect ratio. I'm am inclined to try the Q5S 200/55, and imagine on that 6-in rim, it would be taller and not flatter than the 190/55. Can you confirm?
