No it didn't hurt a thing. I've tried prefilling the filter and most just pours out by the time I get it screwed on. If it was just the difference between full filter and empty filter, empty takes about 2 seconds longer for the oil pressure light to shut off. I wouldn't worry about it. The oil pump has lost most of its prime by the time you get the filter on whether it's a full filter or an empty one. The engine is going to run with no circulation for a couple seconds no matter what you do.
LOL I believe you can use a square drive on a drill to run the oil pump via the water pump. That will get oil circulated before you fire 'er up. I've only heard of people doing this on a brand new engine that never had a drop of oil in it before.
