I asked the guy what year it was and he said " Its mostly a '72 model." This thing looked mean, I don't think I would ride it around the block. He jumped on and it started on the first kick and then thundered out of there.
After that we headed back home. Someone had a flat tire so we had to make a pit stop, but luckily someone we knew with a truck drove by. We loaded it up and was off again. His valve stem on the rear tire broke almost all the way off. So the moral of the trip is: Dont speed down mountains and pay the extra $2 to get new valve stems when you get new tires.
