if they remapped it they would have put it on the dyno and seen some numbers either close to 200 or over 200, if they didnt then you probably dont have a carpenter motor. and i doubt that you would get an 02se with a carpenter motor for 8500 jmo

I would stop looking into it. I would be affraid of the motor coming up hot.
Just be happy with the deal you got. Congrats.

I did get in touch with the guy I bought it from, turns out he owns a performance shop in Ohio http://www.johnnykspowersports.com/... he never mentioned that either, just that he was getting engaged and needed some extra cash.He did have the Motor work done and will get me the spec sheet for it,says it should be about 220rwhp without the NOS...and he said he did list that on the ad.

short story: I bought the bike off ebay 14 month ago,I was looking for an Black 02le...thats what I wanted and was haveing a hard time finding one.when I seen it I knew it was the one..I didnt know sh!t about bikes as I never even rode one, just knew what I wanted, well, now I could probably dismantel and rebuild the bike blind folded and I have gotten pretty good with my rideing too..I have OCD like a MOFO and its only a matter of time until im bored with this,i did the same thing with a boat about 5 yrs ago so if he mentioned it had a carpenter built motor to me at the time it wouldn't have ment anything to me even though they are right across the river in NJ....all my firends always say, nobody has luck like me,i tend to argue that point considering i have 4 kids and 3 baby mama's ..hahah

the brocks exhaust comes with a map, thats what they downloaded,I have since been intouch with Greg (GPW) And am in the process of makeing arrangements to get my bike picked up by him to get 2 custom maps, one for the NOS and one without,im sure we will have something to show after that happens

Looking forward to seeing your numbers. Sounds like you got a good deal bruda.

if you are running a downloaded map from brock the bike is probably not running right if it has that much motor work done to it, probably had a custom map already in it and with your new exhaust and just a base map from brock for a stock motor probably on the lean side

That pipe looks GOOD !!!

I'm also planning on getting my bike tuned from Greg, this spring.

We need to get together, and ride this summer....?

yeah,im not an expert with this sh!t...what he told me was he downloaded the map already installed (this was a custom map,i know it was mapped 10% fat) and then he installed the brocks map...so whatever that means,it does seem to "pop" here and there and feels like it does need to be dialed in,thats why I contacted Greg, there is a local tuner (fast by ferracci) but they wont touch Nitrous bikes...and I want somebody who knows what they are doing.
