Why is it that Suzuki would design an ignition switch with the park light on the left side past the lock position? Not to mention that you can remove the key from the switch with the park lights on.
Yes indeed big dummy left his park lights on at work. Dead batteries suck at 0300 without tools. Thank goodness for a wife that will bring you a trailer.
Note to self "Don't be stupid and leave the lights on"

They made it that way on purpose. It's so you can leave your bike unattended for a short time and people will see it - but it's secure since you have the key in your pocket.

+1. If you have to park in on the side of the road at night for any reason (nail in tire for example) you can lock the bike and have the tail light on so your Busa doesn't get hit.

I actually used my park light a couple of months ago. Me and my girl rolled up on a nasty bike accident around a blind curve. They had the road blocked with emergency vehicles but people still kept flying around the corner almost hitting another car. I rolled to ol' busa off the side of the road where cars could see it before coming around the corner and turned on the park light. Solved the problem. Plus I have the LED tail light's that don't draw nearly as much power and they are brighter, you may want to switch yours out just as an added advantage. Bad news is that the guy's fiance didn't make it through the crash.
