Oh, and while the subject is up, in order to go 4" obviously I would need another chain ... would I also need a longer brakeline? If so do you sell both of them as well? If so, how much?
To go less than 6 you will not need a new brake line, but you will need a longer brake arm and chain. Flip the caliper around, and the line will fit fine.

I am also looking for the cheap way out. Yana Shiki has bolt on Extensions and I have included a picture of them. Anybody using them? My shop of course said go with the welded version and that these looked a little flimsy on another busa they did but that could have been them upselling me. I just want to go out 4 to 6 inches put on a bigger chain and not have the things fall apart on me

Thebbusa, What kind of undertail is that?

Looks sweet, I like the turn signals mounted up underneath

It's an older styled Mototek undertail.

I've heard stories of the Yanashiki brands failing. I'd spend the extra dough and get Exotic or Spencer Cycle extenions. I tend to spend a little extra when it's a part that my life depends on.

(smokin_gunz @ Nov. 05 2006,16:44) thanks dudes, thinkin about a bolt on extension for stock tire width. just looking for a 4" stretch cheap so the bolt on will be the way to go.
Try Roaringtoyz..I have a dealer account through them if you are interested. They make some really strong extensions for the 14 they come in 4" to 6" and can handle in the window of 300. Rickey Gadson has them on his personalized 14...several passes on the strip with zero issues. Retail is $349.00, I can do $309.00 plus 12.99 shipping. Hit me up with a PM if you are interested.

Rearsets or Extensions?

On extensions: the Exotic and Roaringtoyz extensions are made by the same company..on rearsets I would go with Ti-Force, Gillies or Rizoma just my 2cents. Have yet to see or hear a complaint from the use of these products.

Other than the BLING factor and the improvement in drag racing is there any other reason for extending your swingarm? Im assuming the bike will be VERY twisty unfriendly?
