Switchback led towers!

Re: Switchback led towers!

i wanted to swap out the sockets like i did in the front ,but i got lazy and opted for the autolumination rear led 1156 bulbs that fit our stock sockets. i think they are bright enough for my taste.

Re: Switchback led towers!

I have found on autolumination, site that they also sell replacement bayonets.

Its on the bottom of the this page, the part your looking for is 62-30

Here's the link to the page then scroll down to the bottom!
1157 1156 Superlumination.com leds (Automotive Replacement Light Bulbs, Headlights, Foglights & Lamps)

Im working on what you need to with them now, pics to follow!

those are exactly what i just installed in my rear signal stock housings (1156). they seem to be brighter than my switchbacks up front.

Has anyone had a problem with one of the turn signals not working? I finally got mine done and everything seemed to be in order. Running lights work great, left turn signal works great, but the right works for a minute and then stops completely. By that I mean that it goes black when the turn signal should flash. Dash and rear turn signals all work fine. Turning the bike off for a few seconds gets it to work again, but it quickly returns to not working. I swapped the bulbs and the problem moved with the bulb to the left side. Sent a note to Autolumination and they think I need a load equalizer. I have not checked the bulb, but will today.

i can tell you right now that it has to be the bulb. if it's happening with the bulb regardless of the socket, than the bulb is the issue. i never used a load equalizer and mine are fine. when i first ordered them i dropped one and heard something jingling inside which only illuminated white not amber. i ordered one more shortly after and they work perfect problem free.

What sockets did you use?

Mine have no problems. No "load equalizer" or anything of the sort. Does have a high flash rate, but I am OK with that. Damn old peeps around here need every little bit to catch their eye. If you swap bulbs and the problem stays with the "bad" bulb then I would think it's bulb related. Don't go spending $$ for additional stuff you shouldn't need. Get a new bulb and work from there.

Understand what they were trying to do, but bought a new bulb and should have it tomorrow.

so where's the info on the bayonets? i was lookin and playin with my rear OEM turn signals and found some dual contacts to replace the single contacts with but then realized its the whole little socket deal thats gonna be the problem..duh! ...so whats up with the bayonets? you have my attention
