I use only Slkolene Pro 4 Plus, it runs about $18.00 a quart but it is worth every penny. Your transmission becomes very very smooth. I think it is the very best synthetic money can buy. Just my 2c.

U can't go wrong with it! Under 2k for break in is too soon IMO but alot do it! If you don't move the schedule up to say 4K + its a waist of time and $$. What did you use? Mobil 1 Gold cap, Shell rotella T or some other?

I USE MOBIL 1 MX4T OIL (FULL SYNTHETIC) AT MY 600 MILE SERVICE AND IT SEEMS TO BE BETTER. BUT AS LONG IT HELPS

I switched to amsoil and have noticed smoother operation.I may try the silkolene on the next try to see if any better.

I just did my first service and switched to Lucas synthetic motorcycle oil. Seems to be much smoother. I have read alot of different opinions, over all, all agree that synthetic is better then conventional. What varies is when to start using it.

For Amsoil contact Scott at http://syntheticshield.com/ He sponsors my Drag bike and we have pulled analysis on the Amsoil that proves it is good stuff and doesn't break down. Im talking about running all season on a drag bike on the same oil. warm up consist of letting the bike run for about 2-3 minutes then it is all out the rest of the Day. Amsoil may be the best oil you can put in your motorcycle.
