One of our customers wanted us to assemble and prep this beauty, which came from an importer in California. Its a company called "Kandi", and the model KD-250MD . . . a 250cc scooter motor. A Chinese replica of a T-Rex, which we appropriately dubbed a "T-Rice"

Less than $6,000 shipped to your door. You still have to put a lot of it together and check everything that was assembled over in China . . . still, it is a lot of fun, and it tops out at 55 mph. Totally street-legal, registered as a motorcycle.

It takes off pretty good from a dead stop almost burning the tire a bit, but doesn't exactly pin you back as your floor it. Not the fastest thing I ever rode, but a little fun, nonetheless. Getting out on the interstate with it is another story . . . . .
