Glad you're ok, bikes are replacable. As for the gear I always wear a jacket and gloves. I have the same jacket and from all you've said and all I've heard from others who have gone down in it. It does its job well, even if its a a one down jacket. But hey the money you save on a good skin graft will allow you to replace it -there's always a bright side. Once again glad you rolled away safely
