For anyone looking to get there bike out and see what it will actually run and not just what the ridiculously fast speedometer says...

Check it out.... The Texas Mile

If they get enough people by the end of February the first event will be a THREE day event. Tech on Thursday and then race Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We've got 30 registered and need 60 so if you are thinking about going, DO IT!

100% legal to run absolutely as fast as you want without fear of loosing your license, getting a ticket, and/or a soccer mom or other object pulling out in front of you. Plus medical staff and hundreds of nice people if you need any help. You'll have a blast and wish you would have done this years ago.

If you have any questions or need additional info, let me know.

just a little more than two weeks away! Is any one from this board going to race at this event?

REady to go? What kind of goals have you set for yourself?

Registration is full. I've never done it before but I'd really like to.

I am riding two bikes built by me, a 1441 NOS Hayabusa (goal) 220.00, a 1450 NOS ZX-14 (goal) 220.00...we will see.

The 213.756 had to be my pass on our NOS 14....hopefully the stronger and lighter version will go a little faster. Lots of changes and the 2008 Hayabusa I built is pretty sick for a street bike.

Here are our NOS entries. Still have to mount the black (same as fitted on the yellow bike) Carrozzeria wheels and wave rotors on the Busa..should be fun. :beerchug:
