THE AGING RIDER

(Having read to the bottom of this thread, I *think* I remember what the original question was...)

47 here. Riding for 25 years (26? 27? Can't remember! LOL!).

My reflexes are probably down by 30% since I was 20 -- but, my experience and, dare I say, *wisdom* is 100% greater. Did my first coast-to-coast-to-coast last year; I doubt I could have done it as easily or enjoyed it as much when I was only 21.
 
JP,thanks but I think it's more a case of moments like that being branded into the memory banks than anything else.
DP,three little ankle-biters(grandkids)so far. Only one is big enough to be taken for a ride so far.
Since we're on family, my youngest daughter (34 and cute) came out a couple of weeks ago to visit. Her husband is doing a year in Korea(he's career Sp. Forces) Highlight of her trip was when she climbed on the back of the Busa for a 250 mile ride through the mountains. Kinda like old times. Yes, she rides; learned when she was about six.
