Well i tought only the sidestand touched the pavement of the famous dragon (see )

But while giving the Busa a quick shine this afternoon i noticed the stator cover and the side panel also got a share of the action!!!! See pics below....

Dam buddy, that's hangin' it out! Last time I did that, I met a big rock on a blind curve (and I wasn't draggin' anything yet) ....be careful!!

how long did it take you to sand those parts? looks real. haha thats low, to low for me. seems like you would be dragging since it looks liek you hang off pretty good

Damn Zef you are my hero. I didn't think it possible to drag the hard parts.
To push it harder than that some suspension / height mods would be required. I dont think a stock Busa like this could handle some serious racing... I was very surprised when i heard the ''grinding''

those are battle wounds that you should never fix

I'm bookmarking this thread for the next time I see one of those 'the busa can't corner' threads. Thats impressive!

you scraped so much of your bike parts... and still didn't take a fall.. thats just sheer luck i'd say!!
Before loosing your grip you can feel the tires letting go... A predictable tire will warn you well in advance so you can ease on the throttle before ending low siding...

When you've pushed some bikes a bit you get to recognize those signs. It might look more hardcore than it actually was because the Busa is so low to the ground, but i was not on the edge of loosing it yet... And all of that riding on the OEM BT56 too, so people who say they suck, well, i dont get it!

Man you have <span style='font-size:13pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:deeppink'>bolas grandes</span></span>
More man than me. I'm to skeered to lean it over that much in any conditions.
All B.S. aside. You are good.

That's what learning the basics on smaller bikes will result in... The Busa is my 8th sportbike, i started with an '87 EX500 (Kawi) back in 1991... Since then i've taken a race school course and went on from bigger bike to bigger bike (EX500 to FZR600 to ZX7 to CBR900RR to ZX11 to ZX11 to ZX11 to Hayabusa).

Once you've learned to corner and all, it's the same on a 600 or a 1300, just more work for your arms and legs!!!!

That's why i believe the Busa is a really wrong choice for a starter's bike... My 0,02$

WOAH....its a shame you have the "rookie" tag under your screen name. You are anything but that. Thats some really impressive stuff. I was freaked out over your sidestand but this takes the cake!
