I not only work at a suzuki shop,i also work at a kawasaki shop.why do you think kawasaki held up on release on the zx12 last year.they spent millions in development and still would not release it,and had thoughts about for 2000.so if plan on buying zx12 always remeber you will be like everybody else,SECOND!the reason i say this is a kawasaki rep. has spoken to us.it's just a bike they failed on. This was posted by a guy that knows so come up with your neanderthal remark but I can go right now and get on the fastest production motorcycle in the world and ride, my friend all you have are your dreams..............

ZX12 -You Hayabusa wanna' be! I am the guy referred to by the Vegasdud, I work for the Suzuki & Kawasaki dealership. The rep told US that that the kaw could never outrun the Hayabusa. See, there is a market for the bike, but with the R1 and the CBR that is the ONLY contention any other bike has. The Hayabusa is ONE class and ONE class ONLY!! It is the ULTIMATE SPORT BIKE. You know nothing about it and never will, that's why Cycle World voted it "BEST BIKE OF THE YEAR"!! If you really believe the ZX12 will run, JUST COME TO GREENVILLE, S.C., there's plenty of 1300's that will TOAST your ASS!!!!

This thread is just a peeing and farting contest. It has nothing to do with the H or the ZX12. We have absolutely no control over the design, production, and performance of either. Peeing and farting contests will not determine which ends up being faster, slower, heavier, lighter, etc etc.

Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Aprilia, Ducati, Laverda, BMW, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Matchless, Ariel, Norton, Vincent, Husqvarna, Husaberg, Excelsior, Zundapp, MZ, Sears, Buell, KTM, Cagiva, Maico, Bultaco, GasGas etc etc. WHO CARES !!!!

I just look around and get the best bike there is. Right now that is the GSX 1300 R. I myself got ready to order a ZX-12 but when i realised that the Hayabusa really delivered all that performance i went for it.

Please don't comment the bike before you've been on one - THEY GO LIKE CRAZY. Bikes usually develop in small increments but this one took a huge step. That,s why we're in love with it.

When picked mine up from the shop the mechanics asked me which bike i had before and i told him GSX-R 750 -97, GSX-R 1100 -91 and CBR 600 -91. He said that the GSX-R 1100 is like a moped compared to the 'Busa and he wasn't all that far from reality.
