The Gel Seat

Gel is about the same but its like sitting on the couch....atleast I think so...not sure about the Tobin.

I have the Corbin and it's been nice for short rides but so is the stock seat.  I did about 250 miles on the Corbin today and now I'm thinking Gel or Tobin. My tush didn't like the Corbin after the first 100 today.

I've got long legs, are either the Gel or Tobin taller than stock?

I have the Tobin and it's not for comfort but to hold you in place...keeps you from sliding back.  Love the seat for that reason plus it looks good.  It also sits you 1 or 2 inchs lower since the foam has been cut out. I am 6-3 but am not bothered by sitting any lower down.  I just rode 300 miles with it and it was fine, but the next time I go on a trip I might put the stock seat on for more padding.

I just got the gel. It definately is harder. I think it may soften up and conform with a little time. I may have an iron butt, but neither seat bothered me on long rides. i'm sticking with it. Also, it seems to weigh pretty close to the stock seat. I didn't weigh them. but I was expecting it to be alot heavier. Not bad!

I've owned stock, Corbin, and gel seats... All have there pros and cons. I've decided to add padding and shape it to a stock seat, recover it and ride with it for a while... Kinda like horse saddles sometimes you gotta go custom padding to get the right fit.

I love my Gel Seat...it gives me more time in the saddle than the stock one did.
