The next brock's exhaust??

Well my guess is it utilizes the same components that they offer to the public. However it has been "tweaked" for ultimate performance for that specific Ricky Gadson bike. i.e Can shortened, little to no baffle, shortened header. IDK...guessing here. :dunno:

It could be, I'd call Brock and ask. They may be testing a new product that will be released shortly.... :beerchug:

Guys,

It's called a CT Meg and it is a full titanium PRODUCTION system currently available for the ZX-14 and Gen 2 Busa. The bike shown is our 2009 ZX-14 ridden by Rickey Gadson in AMA Dragbike’s SuperSport class. We set a new ET record of 8.90 in the system’s debut last weekend at Norwalk, and we are comfortably leading the point’s championship heading into the final round:laugh:

I think this will cover the questions listed:

1. The CT Meg is so new that we haven't had the time to place it on our website yet (we are transitioning between our old inventory management system and our new—so there has been a delay in our old store).

2. There is a small increase in peak power compared to the CT single… but the CT Megs main goal is to look SWEET while providing the maximum performance that our customers expect. FYI: It looks similar to our Alien Head, but isn’t so damn loud!

3. We will also have conversion kits available for those who like this new look but may have already purchased a CT single.

4. ALL Brock’s systems (including conversion kits) come with lifetime map support for as long as you own your exhaust, and the map support program is transferable if you sell your system (this adds value when you go to sell your bike or exhaust).

5. We do not use "Un-obtanium” or “one-off” or systems. EVERY system we sell is the exact same as what we race with (after we prove the performance and put the systems into production). Don’t believe me? I will sell the system off of this bike to the first person to show up at Valdosta with cash (of course, once the race is over).

The best news--we have REDUCED the price on almost all of our systems including our titanium versions :bounce:. You now get quality and craftsmanship that rivals Akro; but with our Brocks’ Performance power and attention to the detail that sportbike owners (who also drag race) desire. We have increased ground clearance, cornering clearance, and power while providing a cutting edge look—any other suggestions would be appreciated.

A quick shameless plug for Brock's customer service.

I had a small weld failure on my midpipe on my Brock Alien Head last weekend. I race my stuff hard and generally do bad things to my motorcyle, so failures are just part of the sport, But I shot Brock's an email on Wednesday asking if the mid-pipe was warranteed. They shot me out a new midpipe last night for the race this Sunday.

Unreal service. Thanks Brock!

Gotta love the .org! A member spots an unknown exhaust from one of the top manufacture's. And with-in 72 hours the Company in question personally logs on and has given a product explanation and answered our questions!
Simply awesome

Tom,

Thanks! We try very hard to please:thumbsup:

Dual....it's been a little trouble due to chain and sidestand clearance-but we haven't given up just yet.

We are in full development mode for springtime, I will keep you posted on progress.

Looks mean and nasty~!~ Bet it'll turn some heads~!~

I run your Alien Head and love it

Brock...just a side question if you will...I read up on the small air box mod plugging the tube on the Gen II...

Just curious, why plug it~?~

The shop put my AH exhaust on and failed to plug this tube/hole. The bike ran great the way it was, just popped a back fire when shifting gears and when riding hard letting the motor slow you down.

I almost seemed to have a little more power without plugging the hole, and ran faster at Maxton. (colder air, tail wind, etc, etc...but still)

After plugging the hole it really seemed to smooth the power out a bit and was quieter over all, but could be just the lack of the backfiring and extra noise too...

My question is this...does it hurt anything to not plug this hole~?~ Backfiring damage valves, etc?

Does it make any power difference at all or just eliminate the back fire~?~

Pair valve block off.

The factory PAIR (Pulsed Air Intake Reed) simply injects air into the exhaust track (through a hole in the head from the exhaust port to the top of the valve cover on each cylinder) to help burn any unburned fuel in the exhaust pipe. In OEM applications, this occurs before the converter and creates additional heat to help it operate more effectively and lower emissions.

In an aftermarket application the pair must be removed or blocked to prevent excessive popping during deceleration. There is no power again to be had as all aspects of the pair occur after the exhaust gases have left the engine. If the pair is allowed to operate in any aftermarket exhaust system it also creates an excess amount of exhaust heat which can discolor exhaust pipes and also cause premature heat related failure (to the exhaust itself, but especially to the packing of the baffle).

Called this morning. The CT single meg is not for sale yet but should be this Spring. Should be roughly the same price as single a CT regular system.

No exact info, just should bees:thumbsup:

and that blue slashcut sidwinder is hot!!!!!!!

Guys,

My sales staff has not yet been briefed on the availability of the CT Meg line-up. Sorry for any confusion.

They are currently available to pre-order for the ZX-14 and Gen 2 Busa. The price is the same as the CT Single, but conversion pricing has not yet been established (it should be by the end of the week).

FYI: We will also have them available for the GSX-R1000, Gen 1 Busa and other models in the springtime.

At this time, they are not available in dual outlet-- but we hope to have this solved by springtime also.

You must call to order 937-912-0054.

Just to put my 2 cents in. I left a mssg today at Brocks cuz I was .
After 5 around 5:30 Steve from there called and gave me all the answers I needed.
Even offered me a liitle extra cuz I already own an inferior competitors product.
Thank you for the courtesy and prompt reply.
I will be ordering an Alienhead or Shortmeg in Black ceramic this week. Durn I just cant decide between the two. I like the idea of a removable baffle in case somebody needs to get woke the F up and slightly lessor price but the Alienhead looks so cooooool !

Somebody please help me ,I got Busa on the Brain and can't stop !

Alienhead or Shortmeg

I think the Alienhead looks just sick blacked out. However, the shortmeg makes just a hair more power. You can't go wrong with either system...
