Also, let's not forget that I was without TEAM GIXXER stickers this weekend (or any stickers for that matter) so that had to take at least 2.5 seconds off my pace

Jay needs to look the other way while I say this: Those NTEC slicks are the cat's azz; While I got a twitch or two going thru a wet spot, when the track was dry they held like velcro and give me tons of confidence. When following Jay closely, I could watch his Q2 rear skip, and I was on the gas before him. I KNOW it's what gave me the confidence to put in that lap time - if Jay had a set on, I'm CERTAIN he'd be in the 38's.

They also seemed to wear well - If I could get 2-3 weekends out of them, it would be cost effective compared to Q2's. But if there was ANY water on the track, I don't think I'd trust them too much because they have to get HOT to work right...

Well I've decided that I hate painting fairings after a crash...so I've decided I'm not crashing ever again.

Lots of taping and setting up for the colors. Maybe a couple more coats of clear and she'll be back good as new.

Still need to add the stickers too.
