Thats possible, with perfect conditions. I think Got-Busa said he had to drop 2 teeth on the rear to pass 200mph. Listen to him, he's done his homework. He pm'd me some details a while back, I wanna try for 200 myself at Maxton later this year if i get the cash in time.
A little quicker
Do you miss it yet?
I really like that new Kawasaki you've got though!
Yeah,
I miss it a little
but the new Z
makes up for the loss .
Sadly it has been too cold ,
foggy or rainy to put many
miles on it so far .
Six did you ever try 200 ?
Nah,
197 mph was it , gps'd ( stock gen 2 gearing , ecu flash, full dual Akropavic, no mirrors )
I am pretty sure I could have ( not lsr , but a few miles of empty straight road ) .
I added a Spiegler bar conversion after ,
and never got around to removing it temporarily and adding taller gearing .
But,
Red was supposed to let me
take his turbo Busa to the store ,
so I could break 200 miles per hour ,
so as soon as I ride over to his house .
Laugh out loud .
Unfortunately,
Maxton closed
shortly after
my original post .
When my bike was brand new
I bounced of the 186 limiter
very quickly against
a new Corvette stingray .
Surprised how quick it got there ,
but I'm a small guy especially tucked in .
Later with LSL kit / ECU flash , and slip ons
it pinged 196 GPS with mirrors .
The Gearing was 19 /43 with a 55 rear tire .
There was just a WEE bit more maybe 1 mph or 2 ,
but road was ending for those speeds .
Now running bags I haven't been above 181 GPS .
I imagine in PERFECT conditions with full exhaust ,
bags off , mirrors off , stock screen , and a low seat
( I have a pan just for this ) It might make 200 .
However missing belly wing ,
and GSXR 1000 front fender it may not .
Even with a tune those two items
are key to the cutting through the air
like the Peregrine Falcon .
Honestly have little desire
to find out 165 / 180 they
put a good smile on the face .
Music sounds like a '70s porn......Suzuki annihilation of the Blackbird before the turn of the century ~ perhaps HONDA will take a shot at the H2R *

So true! My favorite conversation ever was squid "how fast does your bike go?"As for bragging rights, I don't care, as all the real bike guys understand, and all the squids have already been 200+mph, lol.
Music sounds like a '70s porn . . .
Cool bike though ,
would love to see Honda make this,
it might inspire Suzuki to get riled up and
make the Hayabusa again .
I will wait for the drag race video
of the 2020 Busa and Blackbird . . .
The Tomahawk never made any speed records .
That was an estimated speed
based on power, weight, and gearing .
