The Ultimate handling performance upgrade

I'd buy a track only Gix and mod it to my hearts content. That way when you dump it at the track you still have the Busa to come home to.

Hey, ive got an exhaust for sale - go check the classifieds. One word of caution though, its LOUD...

i called traxxion and got onboard with there fork kit and a penske rear shock all in all it was well under 2k worth every penny

I know this is expensive dreaming here, and I love my stock 05 LE, but I'm considering following through with some high end mods, I'd like some of your opinions...

handling

1. Dymag carbon wheel set (research tells me this is the best bang for $$)
2. Ohlins suspension (gotta be better than stock,,,right? but how much?)
3. Galfer rotors/steel lines (stock brakes are crap)

power

1. The lightest/highest performing exhaust system needs to be streetable
2. Power Commander (obviously with the exhaust system)

I want to spend several weekends per summer at Miller Motor Sports track
and I tour in empty quarter, and in the mountains. I ride hard, use all my tire now in the road twisties and I want to maximize the Busa's performance without deep engine modifications for now. I would like to think I can stay ahead of the liter bikes in power, and hang with them in the canyons. I understand the track is another story altogether. I weight 180 suited up.

Question: Is this $8500 or more gonna be worth it? I know it will all look cool as hell, but I want to sharpen the tool some. Thanks for your time.

BST's are much better than the Dymag's

I got a '07 with all the mods you mentioned (except the suspension mods for now),
when I booght the bike new I bought a set of aluminum Marchesini wheels and changed them before I even started the bike so I dont kknow the difference ???
later I changed the exhaust system with a 4-2-1 Dual exit Yoshi, it sounded much nicer, and felt much much lighter (supposed to be 10kg or so lighter) then I got a PCIII+air box mod+ignition module etc, and fueling got better at low revs for sure.
last I changed the hoses (goodridge) wave rotors and HH pads (galfer) and this sure made some improvements to the braking.
As to the question of 'Is it all worth it' well if you have alot of money and it is not a big deal, then go ahead because it sure gives your bike a great look and better performance, but another bike in the garage might also be a better look
