Im new to the group and i will like to know if im being a little to greedy if not stupid for thinking about getting a turbocharger for the busa which will up the total horsepower to 245 im willing to accept any advice

Dont do it. Most people that modify their bikes to that extreme usaully regret it. It sounds simple enough, just throw on a turbo and have fun, but its not, only the sellers of these parts say how simple it is. Theres usually surgery that has to be performed to get everything to fit, then theres the distinct possibility that you will continueally have to screw with it all the time. If you like trouble, bullshit , endless hours of frustration , lots of money spending and just plain hell then go ahead. Put on a good quality exhaust system and just ride it! These things have plenty of power for the street. Iam not trying to be negative but Ive just seen plenty of this stuff happen. Listen.

If U are thinking about a Turbosystem ask Mark Moisan about "his" systems. They are developed and mady by a swede ( McXpress piteaa Sweden ) and are the absolute Bollox.
I am going down to him next weekend to check out his Turbo busa. It will deliver around 300 rwhp and is totally drivable. Almost like a stocker.
I know because I have driven one Turbo Gsxr750 98 model and one ZXR750 97 model. The injected Suzi was a real pleasure to drive. It had almost no turbo-lag and 175 rwhp. The Kawa was a littel worse it had 190 rwhp and some turbolag but only because the owner wanted it like that( big horsepower for a small bike )
If u go to his homepage : http://www.mc-xpress.com/ You can see for yourself. It is in swedish but U can look at the pictures and read the Dyno outprint.
the URL:http://www.mc-xpress.com/bikes/turbocyklarhtm Takes U staight to the ZXR750 , Its a beauty.
If there is anything u want to know about those Turbos just reply here or send me an e-mail. Ill help u as much as I can.
I will also post a Dyno outprint of the Turbo Busa as soon as I get it. ( I am thinking about a turbo myself , but hyssss dont tell anybody :)

Well somone seems to know better than me here. But really The turboes made by McXpress is a new generation. The finish is superb ( campared to others I have seen ) and the drivability is so much better than the turbos from the past.
U gotta try to belive.
I was too a non turbo guy myself ( got one Steet GS1100EF with 208,1 RWHP myself ) , hated turboes because of the bad ones made by an american firm I cant mention the name of ( hehehe ) But this is ....well u got the drift. They are really good:)

'STAY STOCK STAY HAPPY" I had to buy my busa just to have something to ride when my 1992 GSXR1100 w/EFI Turbo is not running, which is most of the time. But when it does run, look out. The busa has more then enough power for the street. You will not be able to use it as it is. Save your money, Or better yet if you want to waste it, send it to me

There is only 1 choice here, contact Mark Moisan at ATS in Florida. I have 2 buddies with turbo bikes, one with a Mr. Turbo 900RR and one with a ATS turbo 1100XX(X). Peak hp-wise they both work very well. Around town, there is absolutley no comparison. The Mr. Turbo bike with FI has to be tuned constantly and is has problems most of the time and terrible low-mid range carburetion(do you call it carburetion with FI?). The ATS bike performs flawlessly with wonderful carburetion 100% of the time. The ATS system has been perfect. The installation was a breeze and it works exactly as claimed.

And again must I say that the "ATS" is developed and made in Sweden by McXpress. And yes....it works.
It really does. So GSXR TURBO, if you want a turbo wich works , now U know where to get it. There is no worse thing than a turbo who doesnt work ( like yours most of the time ) and nothing like one who works, like the "ATS" McXpress tuboes does.
Try it, U`ll like it....heheheh

hey hey hey there,I want to get one thing straight here...for everyone.I go after women only, and thats all i go after(good looking one's preferably).Iwas jerking your chain dude(not being mean)and certainly not hitting on you.I was however making fun of the fact that you seem to get a plug in on those swedish turbo's every chance you get.
As for computer nerd, just because i fix them to bring home a paycheck doesn't make me a computer nerd.A sportbike nerd maybe...
Don't get me wrong, i just find your sense of humor funny, but your not my type, as i have stated, i prefer nice looking women.
So now that i have cleared that up, bring on those dyno numbers when you get 'em.

yngve, your a trip, i notice you get in an advertisement where ever you can and i laugh my ass off every time i read one of your posts.you must be a trip to hang out with.
well have a good one and keep up the humor

Eeeeee thanks ?
Not sure if I should say thank U for your kind words...... I usually want to get hit by girls, not computer-nerds from Virginia ( hehehehe )of my own sex. I guess I have to be thankful for what comes my way.
Lucily I live in Norway and thats at least 15 hours by plane from your place.....
Anyhow ill post the dynooutprint for the turbo Hayabusa next week, so dont go away now.

Got U real good there gixerbike1?
hehehehehehe
And ( just to spice things a little up here ) the war seems to be over so now the world are going to be flooded by Akrapovic systems.

If you're going drag racing, fine get a turbo, if not...well, I wouldn't fancy it cutting in when it hit the right revs halfway round a corner. I suspect it might kick the bike straight and send you straight into the hedges!
